I am a PhD student at the School Of Computer Science at the University of Manchester, UK. I have been with the APT Group since September 2002, supervised jointly by Professor Steve Furber from APT group and Dr. Jonathan Shapiro from the Artificial Intelligence group.

My research is related to building software models of dynamical neural systems. The objective is to gain a better understanding of the working of large scale networks built out of neurons as well as to build useful applications, in hardware as well as in software. I am presently working with spiking neurons.
