Content-Length: 1268 X-Lines: 46 Status: RO From: Fu-Chiung Cheng Date: Fri, 3 Mar 1995 15:09:53 -0500 We are considering implementing asynchronous circuits using FPGAs. We need to choose FPGAs such that hazard-free logic can be realized and the FPGAs can be reprogrammable in circuits. The following are in-circuit reprogrammable FPGAs we know right now: Company Family WWW(FTP addr or Tel. no or addresss) ========== ============ ========================================== Xilinx LCA Plessey ERA AMD Atmel CLi AT&T Orca Altera Flex,UTFPGA1 http:\\www.altera.com 1(800)5-altera Toshiba Algotronix CAL,Triptych ========== ============ ========================================== Question 1. Which of them are (seem to be) suitful for asynchronous circuits? Question 2. Do you know any other products may be suitful for asynchronous circuits? Question 3. Any experience or suggestion in implementing asynchronous circuits with FPGAs are welcomed. Question 4. Any Email-address, WWW, or tel. no. related to the above products are welcomed. Thanks a lot in advance. -John PS: my email: cheng@cs.columbia.edu
