I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Manchester. I am working on the JAMAICA research project, and here are my research interests.

My undergraduate teaching this year is CS2051, Introduction to Operating Systems, and here is a link to the home page for this course. In addition I will teach CS3052, Distributed Operating Systems.

Recreational Interests

I am a Go player (2 kyu), hon. treasurer of the Manchester Go Club, and a member of the British Go Association . I also orienteer with Manchester and District Orienteering Club (MDOC).
