Manchester is well served by road, rail and air. Rail travellers are advised to travel to Oxford Road station, from where the university is about 10 minutes walk (or very frequent buses) away from the town centre, down Oxford Road.

Various maps, including details of Manchester city centre, are available here.

Please register for the forum by filling this form and posting it with a cheque for the appropriate amount, payable to the Universiry of Manchester, to Viv Woods.
The registration cost is £52 (including 1 night's accommodation on September 6, dinner, copy of proceedings), £ 62 for en-suite rooms, or £ 27 without accommodation.
Please note that September is a busy time for student accommodation in Manchester. We have reserved 20 standard and 10 en-suite rooms, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Although we will do our best to help, please register early to ensure that we will be able to reserve the type of room you prefer.
