The Advanced Processor Technologies (APT) group in the School of Computer Science has made notable contributions to the development of asynchronous microprocessors, synthesis tools for asynchronous systems, chip multiprocessor architectures for the efficient support of Java virtual machines, and asynchronous signal processing systems.
